This is what we call the "pretty street" where we like to drive by to feel small under the curving trees. I have to admit this shot was taken without much care. It's off center and I just don't like the way it looks. There was a dude shoveling his driveway and it felt odd taking photos of his street. That and I had to watch the cars behind me. I was planning to walk back out to try again at sunset, but I fell asleep. This photo is a reminder to me that I can't lie to myself. No one would know but I'll always know the back-story behind each photo.

...and a reminder that you do need your Sunday nap :)
I feel like the trees are talking to me, beckoning me to look ahead for the next tree and the next... until finally they lead me to a place where they will tell me stories of everything they've seen on that street as well as share their secret of how they stand strong under the weight of the elements.
Wear a reflective vest to alert the drivers of any moving vehicles close by.
